There’ll be traditional games, homemade Christmas crafts, toy-making, carols around the piano, a Christmas pudding taste test, popular music from the era and even the chance to learn The Lambeth Walk.

We’ll also be celebrating Stebbing’s wartime links with nearby Andrewsfield and the American airmen who were stationed there.

A festive family day with plenty to see, make, taste and try

Whether you're a chess champion, a Connect 4 contender or simply love a good game of Snakes & Ladders, there's something for everyone at our Games Morning!

Discover games from centuries past, including Nine Men's Morris, challenge your friends to a game of ping pong, or enjoy a family favourite. With everything from brain-teasing challenges to light-hearted fun, it's a brilliant way to bring generations together.

Bring the family, come with friends or simply pop along and join in. And when it's time for a break, Cornerstone Café will be serving delicious drinks and tasty treats to keep you going!

All ages and abilities welcome – let the games begin!

What did the Tudors do at St Mary’s Church? They literally raised the roof!

Come and explore our church’s Tudor history with hands-on activities for children from Reception to Year 7. Decorate a Tudor rose biscuit or shape a clay roof boss inspired by the carvings in our church, then take your creation home.
