Matt grew up in Stebbing and, after several years living up north, returned to the village in 2026. With several years’ experience in cafés and hospitality, he is a self-taught barista with a passion for great coffee, homemade cakes and creating a welcoming space where people can come together. He loves being part of a project that brings the local community together. Outside work, Matt enjoys cooking, music, walking, exploring new cities and looking after his ever-growing collection of houseplants. He also has a fascination with Greek mythology!
