5 Dec Christmas the 1940s Way

Step back in time and enjoy Christmas the 1940s way at St Mary’s, Stebbing.

There’ll be traditional games, homemade Christmas crafts, toy-making, carols around the piano, a Christmas pudding taste test, popular music from the era and even the chance to learn The Lambeth Walk.

We’ll also be celebrating Stebbing’s wartime links with nearby Andrewsfield and the American airmen who were stationed there.
